UNI

Have just posted some photo's of what i spend most of my time doing...uni!! I know that's pretty sad. Anyway some of the photos are of my class on a feild trip for environmental science and some of us back in lab testing the sample we collected.We don't always do these kinds of feild trip/lab sessions though... in one of my other subjects 'animal biology' one of the first prac's that we did this year was testing our own urine!?! We were banned from going to the toilet all day until our prac that afternoon so that we would have a good amount to test. If was actually pretty gross we tested for a number of conditions. And lets just say the results were pretty public...nice class bonding session! ah so anyway if that is the kind of thing your into...Do an environmental science degree!!

I have posted some photos of Bowen. I grew up in Bowen and i love it, its a great town. Some of the pictures are of the film set of "Australia" which was shot in Bowen recently and the rest are of the beautiful beaches we have.

More About Me

I live in Mackay and attend CQU to study Environmental Science. I love sailing, scuba diving, going to the beach, spearfishing ( i know bit of a contradiction to the hippie enviro science chick) Despite all this ocean im a bit of a country kid and would most times rather be in a small town than in the ‘big smoke’. My ambitions for my life and for my career are endless. For instance in the next year alone i would like to sail onboard the Young Endeavour, dive the Yongala (shipwreck in NQ), skydive, move to Yeppoon (to finish my degree in Rockhampton) and do vacation work for a company in the resources sector so i can go back to uni with some experience and some money! And thats just the start.....
